  • Bostwick’s Chowder House

    • Bostwick’s is always at the top of our list for best lobster roll in The Hamptons! The lobster salad recipe is always spot on, with just the right amount of mayonnaise and herbs. The bun is a classic potato roll and they include a side. I think it’s hard to top it!

  • Duryea’s Lobster Deck

    • Another top contender, I love that their recipe is a little lighter. They use very little mayo and go heavier on the citrus. It also comes with fries and a great coleslaw. It leaves some room for some of their other drool-worthy menu items. 10/10

  • Gig Shack

    • I love this different take on the classic lobster roll. They serve theirs up on a fresh baked croissant with dill. Unique and so delicious!

  • Clam Bar

    • Now, Clam bar is under new ownership this year, so as long as they haven’t touch their recipe, it’s always been on my list! It’s a classic, no frills lobster roll with mayo & celery. I generally add some salt & pepper and top it with the coleslaw it comes with. This one doesn’t come with fries, but I’ve always been a fan of the clam bar’s fries so they’re worth ordering in addition.

  • LUNCH aka Lobster Roll

    • Another classic Hamptons vibe, and main competitor to the Clam Bar. Their lobster roll is always topping charts and a must-have for so many in the Hamptons. Served up with just coleslaw, you can add fries for an extra charge.

  • HOOKED

    • Hooked is right off the beach in Montauk and hidden a bit over by Goldberg’s. Lobster roll is classic and delicious! I’d say the only downside to Hooked, is that it is more of a take out spot (though they do have some outside seating). I would take your lobster roll to go from here and take it to the beach.
