Joe and I recently celebrated our 8-year wedding anniversary, and we thought it would be the perfect time to share our favorite date night spots in the Hamptons. Even with our toddlers, we make it a point to prioritize date nights to focus on our relationship and revisit the places where we fell in love.
Bostwick's on the Harbor
Bostwick's on the Harbor has always been a favorite of ours, even in its previous iterations. The sunset over Three Mile Harbor is unbeatable. On date nights, we don't mind waiting for a table because we can wander the marina with a glass of wine and enjoy the views. The casual, coastal vibe paired with delicious seafood makes it an ideal spot for a relaxed evening.
Navy Beach
Before we got married, we often spent sunset evenings in Montauk at Navy Beach. The views here are breathtaking, and there is nothing better than relaxing on a daybed with your toes in the sand. We loved it so much that we decided to get married here! It's always a favorite of ours for its laid-back beach atmosphere and stunning sunsets.
Baron's Cove
Being musicians, Joe and I met when he was playing music at the Blue Parrot. That's why we love going to Baron's Cove over the summer to listen to music on the lawn and share some oysters. The views of the harbor are beautiful, and the relaxed, resort atmosphere makes it a perfect date night spot.
Il Buco al Mare
New to the scene, Il Buco al Mare quickly became one of our favorites because it reminds us of our trip to the Amalfi Coast. It's definitely a busy and popular spot, so be sure to make a reservation. We love the tinned fish and prawns appetizer, but everything on the menu is delicious! The atmosphere is bustling and charming, making it a great place for a romantic dinner.
Elaia Estiatorio
Elaia Estiatorio takes us back to our trip to Greece before we had kids. No matter the season, we find the atmosphere here romantic and the food delicious. If we can't get a table, we love to sit at the lively bar and share a bunch of small plates while enjoying Greek wine. It's a cozy and intimate spot that never disappoints.
The Crow's Nest
The vibe at The Crow's Nest is unbeatable. It's always a great place to put our name in for a table and go enjoy a watermelon cooler on the beach while we wait. We don't mind lingering past sunset and enjoying each other's company. Plus, the food is amazing. This spot perfectly captures the essence of a relaxed, romantic evening by the beach.
