Sunset Soirée for Brain Cancer: A Summer Celebration Benefiting Brain Cancer Research

A Night of Hope and Generosity at Mulford Farm

On a warm summer evening at the picturesque Mulford Farm in East Hampton, the Gray for Glioblastoma community gathered for to support an important cause. This summer soiree was not just an event; it was a testament to the power of love, support, and generosity in the fight against Glioblastoma.

Event Highlights

The evening began with an exclusive VIP cocktail hour where guests mingled while savoring Wölffer Rosé. Adding a personal touch, Klein Designs offered bespoke beach towel embroideries - a delightful keepsake from the event.

A live artist captured the essence of the soiree on canvas, creating a beautiful keepsake of the night. Attendees also had the opportunity to write heartfelt notes of encouragement to brain cancer patients, spreading a message of hope and solidarity.

The silent auction featured an array of incredible items, further fueling the spirit of generosity. The highlight of the night was undoubtedly Kate, the founder of Gray for Glioblastoma, whose inspiring story moved everyone. Kate's dedication to the nonprofit, which she founded in memory of her father Craig—who passed away in March 2023 after a courageous battle with Glioblastoma—continues to shine through every effort.

Impact of the Funds Raised

The funds raised from this memorable evening are set to make a significant impact in the realm of brain cancer research. Gray for Glioblastoma, a 501(c)(3) organization, is committed to raising awareness and funds for Glioblastoma Multiforme research. To date, we have donated over $150,000 to prestigious cancer centers such as Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Children’s Hospital LA/Saban Research Institute, and The Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke.

These donations not only support groundbreaking research projects but also help create a hopeful and positive space for patients and their families. Through our social media and events, we provide resources and a sense of community to those affected by this devastating disease.
