This Weekend in the Hamptons: March 14-16

If you're out here this weekend, there's a good mix happening—live music, a new village-wide celebration, a parade, and an Oscars watch party. Here's what's worth knowing.

Friday: Springs Break Fundraiser at Stephen Talkhouse

What: Local school fundraiser with live music, food, and prizes

Where: Stephen Talkhouse, Amagansett

When: Friday night

This one's worth showing up for. $50K in prizes up for grabs, Blue Elm food truck on site, and live music all night. It's a fundraiser, but it's also just a good Friday night out with solid energy and a great cause behind it.

Saturday: Sag Saturdays in Sag Harbor Village

What: New monthly celebration of culture, cuisine, and community

Where: Throughout Sag Harbor Village

When: Saturday afternoon/evening

This is the first one, and the concept is simple: galleries, shops, and restaurants all open their doors for an open-house style evening. Author readings, live music, tastings, family-friendly events—no set route, just walk the village and pop in where it feels right.

It's a nice way to experience Sag Harbor if you haven't spent much time there, or to see familiar spots in a different light if you have.

Saturday: Westhampton Beach St. Patrick's Day Parade

What: Annual St. Patrick's Day parade

Where: Main Street, Westhampton Beach

When: Saturday, 12 PM

One of the longest-running St. Patrick's Day parades on Long Island. Floats, bagpipers, local community groups—it's festive, family-friendly, and a solid reason to be out in Westhampton if you're looking for something to do with kids or just want to soak up some community spirit.

Sunday: Oscars Watch Party at Southampton Playhouse

What: Oscars viewing party with red carpet moment, ballots, wine, and dessert

Where: Southampton Playhouse

When: Sunday, March 16—red carpet at 6 PM, live stream at 7 PM

If you're going to watch the Oscars anyway, this is a better way to do it. Red carpet photo moment in the lobby, personal ballots, live stream in the theater with dimmed lights and social seating.

Your ticket includes two glasses of James Lane Post x RGNY wine and dessert. There are ballot prizes for most correct picks, and you don't need to stay to win—which honestly makes it even better.

Schedule:

- 6:00 PM: Red carpet photos in the lobby

- 6:30 PM: Cocktails, ballots, live coverage of arrivals and fashion

- 7:00 PM: Live stream of the ceremony

- 10:30 PM: Ballot prizes announced

What Are You Doing This Weekend?

Whether you're out here full-time, visiting for the weekend, or still counting down the days until summer—there's a lot happening. And if none of these are your speed, that's fine too. Sometimes the best weekend plan is no plan at all.
